Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in aerospace, bearings, mechanical systems, or related industries.
• Experience supporting customers in Applications Engineering, Product Engineering, or technical support roles.
• Strong understanding of aerospace mechanical systems, bearing applications, and engineering principles.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards incl. AS9100, FAA, and customer specs preferred.
• Experience with aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and defense customers is a plus.
• Proficiency with engineering analysis, technical problem-solving, and interpretation of drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with CAD software and engineering tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Customer-focused mindset with ability to balance technical and commercial objectives.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between aerospace customers, sales, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Evaluate customer application requirements and recommend optimal plain bearing solutions for aerospace systems.
• Perform engineering analyses, calculations, and product assessments to ensure performance and compliance.
• Provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle, including design reviews and qualification.
• Partner with customers, OEMs, and Tier 1 suppliers to develop customized aerospace solutions.
• Support new product development initiatives with application expertise and testing requirements.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to identify growth opportunities and proposals.
• Lead technical investigations and root cause analyses to resolve issues.
• Deliver technical training and mentor engineering team members on aerospace bearing technologies.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and drive continuous improvement.
