Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Staff Aerodynamics Engineer to perform aerodynamic analysis and design for development programs on-site in Melbourne, FL. The role requires advanced MATLAB/Fortran skills, strong technical reporting, and flight test data handling.

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 12+ years in design/integration of equipment or Master’s in STEM with 10 years

Responsibilities

• Perform aerodynamic analysis & design for development and production programs.
• Design aircraft using sizing tools and develop design space.
• Document analysis results and generate technical reports (CDRLs).
• Support flight test activities including planning and data monitoring.
• Analyze wind tunnel and flight test data; correlate results.
• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams.
