Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Engineer, Aerodynamics to advance the aerodynamic performance of our vehicles. You will contribute to design, development, and optimization of world-class airframes and systems, collaborating with design studio and cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities include leading CFD analysis, wind tunnel testing, and translating results into production-ready solutions, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years for Senior Engineer; 8+ years for Technical Specialist.
• Bachelor's or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Aerodynamics Engineering.
• Automotive or motorsport experience required.
• Strong CFD fundamentals, wind tunnel testing, and CAD modeling.
• Proficiency with CFD software and wind tunnel/testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to aerodynamic design and development of world-class vehicles.
• Design, optimize, test, validate and implement aerodynamic solutions.
• Develop robust CFD processes for accurate vehicle simulations.
• Collaborate across design studio, other engineers, and suppliers.
