Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking an experienced Sr. Engineer, Aerodynamics to join our Aerodynamics team. You will contribute to the aerodynamic performance development of our vehicles and help design, test, and implement innovative aerodynamic solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration across design studios and suppliers to achieve robust CFD processes and accurate simulations. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years at the Senior Engineer level (8+ years for higher roles) with a strong CAD and CFD

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience for Senior Engineer level
• 8+ years for Technical Specialist level
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aerodynamics Engineering
• Experience in automotive or motorsport is essential
• Solid understanding of aerodynamic fundamentals, CFD techniques, and wind tunnel testing
• Ability to create CAD models to an excellent standard
• Working knowledge of various CFD software
• Experience with wind tunnel and track testing
• Strong teamwork, communication and reporting skills

We are currently seeking an experienced Sr. Engineer, Aerodynamics. You will join our Aerodynamics team to contribute to the aerodynamic performance development of our vehicles. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with enthusiasm and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

• Contribute to the aerodynamic design and development of world class vehicles
• Design, optimize, test, validate and implement into production innovative aerodynamic solutions
• Contribute to the development of robust yet efficient Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) processes to perform accurate vehicle aerodynamic simulations
• Work interactively and efficiently within a multidisciplinary cooperative environment, directly interfacing with the design studio and other engineers, and working with suppliers

Qualifications:

• Generally, requires 5 + years of related experience for a Senior Engineer level and 8+years of related experience for a Technical Specialist level.
• Bachelor's degree or higher degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Aerodynamics Engineering
• Experience in automotive or motorsportessential
• Solid understanding of aerodynamic fundamentals,,CFD techniques andwind tunnel testing
• An ability to create CAD models to an excellent standard

Salary Range:

The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$144,000 — $198,000 USD

Compensation & Benefits:

Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a401(k) retirementplan. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off.Eligible employees may also participatein Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, aredeterminedbased on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results,in accordance withthe terms of the applicable plans.
