Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in aerodynamics, aeronautics, aeroacoustic, heat transfer or related discipline.
• 7+ years of related aerospace experience, hypersonic systems or test facility design.
• Strong knowledge of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide design solutions, analyses, and calculations for aerodynamic, fluid dynamic, and thermodynamic systems in ground test facilities.
• Support marketing quotations with trade-offs and recommendations.
• Perform aerodynamic field surveys and commissioning/validation for facilities and components.
• Assist in selecting process equipment for customer facilities.
• Develop and present technical information in meetings and design reviews.
• Willing to travel for reviews, conferences, site surveys, and commissioning.
