Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking a Senior Aero Field Technician to perform field service work at customer facilities, leading a team and coordinating maintenance on gas turbines. Position requires extensive travel and hands-on disassembly/assembly of turbine components, with strict adherence to procedures and safety.

Responsibilities include reporting, technical support, and ongoing training for field service personnel, with a focus on quality and timely execution of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in aviation or mechanics (or 5+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of education).
• 5+ years of mechanical experience on LM6000 & LM2500 aero-derivative gas turbines.
• US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead field service personnel on assigned tasks in the field.
• Submit timely technical & field reports.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance per manuals.
• Disassemble/assemble gas turbine components and modules.
• Ensure safe, quality work and adherence to procedures.
