Job summary

UDR Consulting, INC is seeking an Advisory Engineer for our customer in Aiken, SC to support the Savannah River Site. The candidate will initiate and oversee technical programs, address complex problems, and coordinate across disciplines with a focus on safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires leadership in technical decision-making, mentoring junior staff, and reporting results to site oversight bodies.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and significant experience required.
• DOE security clearance (Q preferred) or ability to obtain one.
• Extensive experience managing nuclear facility maintenance, electrical safety, and hazard analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and influence complex technical programs; plan schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Mentor SMEs and transfer technical knowledge across teams.
• Interface with DOE, NNSA, and regulatory bodies on safety matters.
• Prepare and issue technical communications (ERBMs, procedures) as needed.
