Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking an Advisory Senior Associate in California to support two major areas: end-to-end Mergers & Acquisitions and Performance Transformation. You will interact with client executives, develop financial models, and deliver actionable analyses to improve EBITDA and working capital.

Responsibilities include problem structuring, creating deliverables, and mentoring junior staff. Travel to client sites may be required, and a strong academic record is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed MBA within the past 12 months.
• At least three years in business, consulting, M&A, or analytics.
• GPA above 3.0.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel) and AI tools.
• Willingness to travel/onsite client sites.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support clients across M&A and Performance Transformation initiatives.
• Interface with client executives up to C-Level; lead problem framing and team structure.
• Develop and present final deliverables; advise clients effectively.
• Generate hypotheses and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Conduct market, company, and competitor analyses.
• Build financial models to assess performance and impact.
