Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Manager in Accounting Advisory Services for our Deal Advisory practice in San Francisco. The role focuses on providing accounting advisory support, including adoption of new accounting standards and SEC filings for complex transactions.

The ideal candidate has five or more years of relevant experience, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and CPA or CPA-equivalent preferred; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in financial audit or five+ years in financial reporting and consolidations.
• CPA or CPA-equivalent preferred; eligibility required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting advisory support to clients, including new standards adoption.
• Assist with SEC regulatory filings for spin-offs, IPOs, cross-border transactions.
• Support conversion to US GAAP or IFRS for registered entities.
• Offer transaction accounting and reporting assistance for M&A, divestitures, and financing structures.
• Lead staff, manage engagement metrics, and present findings.
