Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Strategy practice in Los Angeles. You will lead buy-side and sell-side engagements, develop client relationships, and drive performance transformations across transactions.

You will analyze data, build revenue and profitability analyses, present findings, and deliver client-ready reports using Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and visualization tools. Travel and collaboration with executives are expected.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience in strategy consulting, financial analysis, M&A, transaction services, advisory or public accounting.
• Master's degree in a quantitative field preferred; Bachelor's required.
• Strong analytical skills with financial modeling, research, and accounting analysis; proficiency with financial research tools; experience with Python, R or SQL; data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau; and data prep tools such as Databricks and Alteryx.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side analytics and performance transformation engagements.
• Develop client relationships and engage with target and sell-side executives.
• Perform quality of data and revenue and profitability analysis at the transaction level across customers, products, and services.
• Identify and evaluate matters impacting enterprise value and price; analyze financial and operational trends of targets.
• Communicate findings effectively using Excel, PowerPoint, and visualization tools.
• Own or participate in all components of client deliverables from needs assessment to final presentation.
