Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Advanced Sonographer to operate ultrasound imaging systems and support diagnostic procedures. The role emphasizes leadership in timing, training, and protocol adherence, with strong communication to patients and healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Sonography with required clinical hours.
• Certification in ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and 3 advanced registries OR 2 registries + 5 years of experience.
• BLS certification and state licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and software proficiently to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Lead when direct leadership is unavailable and act as expert resource.
• Assist in training and ensure imaging standards and patient safety.
