Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Advanced Sonographer to operate ultrasound imaging equipment, uphold imaging standards, and support diagnosis and treatment. You will lead when leadership is unavailable, serve as an expert resource, and help train staff while communicating clearly with patients and clinicians to ensure optimal care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Sonography with required clinical hours.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• ARDMS/ARRT/CCI certifications or 3 advanced registries within the work area, or 2 advanced registries with 5 years of experience; Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities
