Job summary

Formlabs, based in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to optimize and scale manufacturing lines for increased volumes. You will design and deploy new assembly processes, and build tooling and calibration equipment for efficient production.

You will collaborate with design, mechanical, electrical, and materials teams, and work with overseas contract manufacturers to improve output while maintaining quality and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience working with overseas contract manufacturers or suppliers.
• Proactive problem solver with on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Ability to bring electro-mechanical products to market.

Responsibilities

• Improve existing manufacturing lines and scale with volume.
• Establish inline or intermediate checks to catch failures early.
• Design and analyze production lines with measurable metrics.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers and design engineers to implement changes.
