Job summary

The Structures Company is seeking a Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in Minneapolis, MN to provide test and manufacturing support for RLG and MEMS-based IMUs. You will analyze yield and performance data to monitor process capability and product health, applying RCCA, Lean, and Six-Sigma methods to standard work.

Responsibilities include resolving issues and improving design and production processes. Contract position (6 months with extension potential) with shift timing on first shift and pay

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, test, fabrication, or assembly processes.
• Experience with RCCA, Lean, Six Sigma, and FMEA tools and methodologies.
• Experience developing improvements in product design and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide test and manufacturing support for IMU testing and integration.
• Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability.
• Utilize Lean and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues and support issue analysis.
• Plan and design manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and throughput.
