Job summary

Infotree Global Solutions in Minneapolis is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support daily production activities and drive producibility improvement projects in a challenging environment.

You will apply your experience in manufacturing, test, fabrication or assembly processes, lead lean initiatives, and use CAMP and Six-Sigma tools to improve efficiency, yield, and product quality while working on IMU-related programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM field.
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing, test, fabrication, or assembly processes.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide test and manufacturing support for RLG and MEMS based inertial measurement units (IMUs).
• Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability and product health trends.
• Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.
• Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
• Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
• Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.

YOU MUST HAVE

Plans and designs manufacturing processes in industrial plant. Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May report to an executive or a manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
