Job Details

Position: Senior Advanced Cloud DevOps and Platform Engineer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid Remote/On-site)

Salary Range: USD $153,600.00 - $170,400.00 per year

Employment Type: Full-time

Seniority Level: Mid-Senior level

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related field; or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience
• 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s plus 6 years
• Agile experience preferred
• U.S. Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance required

Responsibilities

• Lead research to integrate new capabilities into our Platform
• Contribute to work breakdown and roadmapping sessions
• Set technical objectives for the team
• Develop automation for PaaS deployments
• Configure and deploy PaaS infrastructure (identity, network, security, logging, monitoring)
• Interface with customers to deploy solutions and conduct workshops
• Plan updates and enhancements to products
• Guide teams in evolving Cloud technologies

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with public, private, and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, RHOSP, VIO)
• Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef)
• Automation using Terraform, Ansible, Packer
• Security practices, IaaS platforms, cloud resource management
• Open source software and network security technologies
