Job summary

DIRECTV seeks a Sr. Specialist, Advanced Analytics to design, build, and deploy predictive models that drive measurable outcomes. You will own end-to-end model lifecycles, from framing problems to deployment, collaborating with senior stakeholders to ensure business impact.

You will mentor analysts, establish governance, and stay current with SnowFlake, Databricks, and AI techniques, delivering clear recommendations and scalable analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, or data science with independently delivered solutions.
• Expert-level proficiency in R and/or Python, with strong SQL skills; cloud-based infrastructure experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full analytical project lifecycle from problem framing to deployment and monitoring.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities and align modeling approaches with business objectives.
• Translate model outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for executives and business audiences.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best-practice development and governance.
