DIRECTV seeks an Sr. Specialist, Advanced Analytics to design, build, and deploy high-impact predictive models. You will own end-to-end analytics lifecycles, from problem framing to monitoring, delivering measurable business outcomes.

You will mentor analysts, partner with stakeholders, and translate complex outputs into strategic recommendations for senior leadership, while staying ahead with modern ML techniques and analytics infrastructure.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or higher in a quantitative field; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in statistical modeling or data science.
• Expertise in ML algorithms (e.g., gradient boosting, random forests, clustering, survival analysis).
• Proficiency in R and/or Python, with strong SQL skills; cloud analytics experience preferred.
• Experience building production models for customer lifetime value, churn, and segmentation.
• Ability to translate analytical findings into strategic business recommendations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring or leading junior analysts.
• Familiarity with DIRECTV-like analytics infrastructure is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead full analytical project lifecycle from framing to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities and align modeling approaches.
• Translate model outputs into clear, actionable narratives for executives.
• Identify data quality issues and model drift; drive remediation.
• Design and deploy advanced predictive models with minimal oversight.
• Establish model governance, documentation, and monitoring practices.
• Mentor junior analysts on techniques, coding, and business communication.
• Lead cross-team analytics initiatives with multiple contributors.
• Stay current on Snowflake, SQL, Databricks, and cutting-edge ML methods.
• Collaborate with data engineering to ensure scalable pipelines and tooling.
• Present findings and business impact to leadership.
