Progressive Leasing is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of decision systems and predictive models that drive business impact. This remote-friendly role can be performed anywhere in the continental US or from the Utah corporate office.

You will blend analytics, data mining, ML, and software engineering to build scalable solutions, studying data to understand customers, products, and finances while setting technical direction for the team.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field.
• Strong coding and analytical skills with demonstrable impact.
• Experience applying ML models to real-world problems.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design, build, and maintenance of decision systems and predictive models.
• Explore data sources internal and external to improve model performance.
• Design and run in-market experiments to test new algorithms and processes.
• Prototype solutions for ambiguous business problems using cutting-edge tech.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to code reviews and standards.
• Communicate findings to senior stakeholders to drive impact.
