Job summary

Launch Potato is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own the full data science engine for a priority vertical, from business problem to deployed model and live ROAS performance. You will work hands-on with data, frame problems with stakeholders, and hand the ML-engineering mile to the partner while staying engaged through deployment and monitoring.

You will start focusing on Insurance and Advertiser Quality, with scope expanding over time; your primary metric is ROAS and revenue impact.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in digital marketing, performance marketing or lead generation.
• Experience building adtech algorithms and paid media modeling.
• Strong modeling fundamentals for business impact.
• Multi-year experience building and deploying ML solutions in AWS.
• Experience across multi-armed bandit, reinforcement learning, ranking systems, funnel optimization, LTV modeling.
• Expert Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Own the full data science engine for a priority vertical from problem to deployed model and live ROAS performance.
• Frame business problems with stakeholders, build and validate the model, and hand ML-engineering last mile to the engineering partner.
• Start with Insurance vertical and expand scope over time; primary metric is ROAS.
• Produce validated, documented outputs with low correction burden, and identify new modeling opportunities.
