Job summary

Comcast Technology Solutions’ FreeWheel division seeks an experienced Principal AdTech Architect to drive end-to-end solution designs for SSP, DSP, Identity, and measurement platforms. You will craft blueprints, ADRs, and architecture roadmaps while guiding teams through scalable, secure cloud-native implementations.

You’ll lead with a product-minded approach, balancing speed and long-term maintainability, and you will champion best practices in data, privacy, and platform interoperability

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software architecture/engineering or similar
• Designed or led architectures for ad serving and SSP platforms (premium video/CTV)
• Experience with header bidding, deal types, SPO, and auction transparency

Responsibilities

• Serve as architecture interface between Product and Engineering for Streaming Hub, DSP, Audience/Identity, Measurement, and Revenue Science platforms.
• Produce Solution Blueprints, Reference Architectures, and ADRs balancing speed with maintainability.
• Guide architecture roadmaps aligning with product value and reducing technical debt.
• Provide hands-on design leadership for cloud-native systems with reliability, observability, security, and cost controls.
• Shape data contracts, identity, consent, measurement, and interoperability standards.
• Advise on build/buy/extend strategies and de-risk delivery with proofs of concepts.
• Review and ensure designs meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
