Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a seasoned Product Manager/Engineering Manager to lead ads quality features from ideation through launch. You will work across engineering, data science, design and PMM to define APIs, guardrails, and experimental designs, ensuring measurable outcomes for advertisers and Pinners.

The role requires strong collaboration skills, a solid background in back-end ad systems, and a track record of delivering complex products in ambiguous spaces.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in product management, engineering management, data science, or related role.
• Ability to define new products/strategies in ambiguous spaces and execute from ideation to go-to-market.
• Experience working with engineering, data, or PMM teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of business metrics and tradeoffs in online marketplaces.

Responsibilities

• Own a vision for new and existing ad capabilities and translate statements into BRDs/PRDs with epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with engineering, ML, data science, design and research to deliver features and align with GTM and feedback loops.
• Build features in ads bidding/optimization to meet advertisers’ objectives while keeping a delightful Pinner experience.
