Job summary

SDLC Technologies is seeking a hands-on Senior Adobe Journey Optimizer Engineer to lead day-to-day configuration, deployment, and production support of the client marketing technology stack on a remote basis.

You will own end-to-end implementation, craft complex journeys, author offers, and troubleshoot to ensure data health across AJO, RTCDP, Data Distiller, and the broader AEP ecosystem. This role requires senior-level, hands-on experience with real-time campaigns and analytics.

Qualifications

• Senior-level hands-on practitioner with extensive, daily operational experience implementing and supporting Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) modules.
• Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer and RTCDP in production environments.
• Strong SQL (Standard SQL, PL/SQL) and data validation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on AJO implementation, testing, and deployment of complex journeys and campaigns.
• Implement real-time, event-driven journey triggers and ensure data flow from initial trigger to multi-channel execution.
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for daily AJO and RTCDP issues, diagnosing failures and data gaps.
• Use Data Distiller and AEP Query Service to query data lakes, build derivative datasets, and validate data health.
• Support RTCDP operations: audience segmentation, identity stitching, and data ingestion validation.
• Build and manage AJO Decision Management rules, ranking strategies, and fallback offers.
• Perform data validation and trace pipelines from Snowflake to AEP.
• Map journey events to Customer Journey Analytics for attribution and insights.
• Configure global suppression logic, frequency capping, and cooldown rules.
• Develop and maintain custom actions, webhooks, and lightweight code necessary for campaigns.
• Provide strategic business guidance to maximize ROI from the AJO toolkit.
