Job Description

This role focuses on implementing and maintaining Adobe Analytics tracking across digital platforms, including video analytics using Adobe Heartbeat.


Day to day, they gather requirements, build tagging specs, configure Adobe Launch, and ensure accurate data capture. They troubleshoot tracking issues, validate events after releases, and support overall data quality.


As the Adobe Analytics expert, they guide stakeholders on best practices and ensure all instrumentation aligns with business goals.


Environment: Moving from older Adobe Analytics (v1/v2) to v3. Transitioning from Adobe Measurement SDK to Adobe Web SDK / Adobe Experience Platform SDK.

Skills and Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, instrumentation engineering, or similar experience.

  • Experience implementing and managing Adobe Analytics video tracking using Adobe Heartbeat.

  • Proficiency with tag management systems, (Adobe Launch or Tealium IQ), with experience implementing and managing analytics tags.

  • Strong ability to write and execute SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, or similar cloud-based data warehouses.

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics SDK implementation and migration, including working with mobile and connected TV platforms to ensure accurate event tracking and data collection.

  • Excellent communication skills for translating technical requirements to diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to debug, validate, and test analytics implementations end-to-end.

  • Programming knowledge in JavaScript, Objective-C, or Java.

  • Background in computer science or software engineering.

  • Google Analytics, Comscore, Nielsen, and Tableau are a plus

  • Background in media and entertainment
