Job summary

Binghamton University seeks an Administrator for Online Learning and Professional Development in the Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science. The role focuses on developing online education and workforce development initiatives for industry professionals and off-campus students.

Qualifications

Experience applying instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, backwards design) to educational content.
Experience managing projects and developing online programs.
At least four years of experience in higher education, industry outreach, or a related field.
Experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Master's or PhD preferred in a related field from a regionally accredited institution.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of new not-for-credit courses and assist with skills badge or micro-credential development.
Oversee quality of online and hybrid programs, and manage LMS operations and accessibility.
Recruit, train, and supervise instructional support staff and student assistants.
Identify workforce needs with industry partners and translate into online/blended programs.
Collaborate on marketing to promote outreach programs and assist with recruitment and retention.
Engage stakeholders and report on program outcomes; assist with grant writing and administration.
