Job summary

City of Wichita is seeking an experienced recruitment professional to own the full-cycle recruitment process, partner with managers, and ensure compliant and effective hiring across city departments.

The role requires coordinating testing, posting positions on multiple channels, and mentoring hiring managers on strategies and laws. A four-year degree and ATS experience are preferred, with eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Two years of human resources experience in recruitment or the pre-employment lifecycle process, with relevant experience in areas such as job posting, onboarding and candidate experience, employment-branding, social media advertising.
• Two (2) years’ experience with ATS systems.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need of a sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with managers to post positions through intake meetings and ensure understanding of department needs.
• Manage external testing vendors and assessments as requested by Hiring Manager.
• Post job openings on city career sites and social media; coordinate with others to post on City of Wichita accounts.
• Coach hiring managers on recruitment strategies and applicable laws.
• Conduct basic data analyses and generate reports on recruitment activities as needed.
• May plan/attend career fairs and provide innovative recruitment solutions.
