Job summary

Vermillion, Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking an HR Recruiter/Generalist to manage full-cycle recruiting and support onboarding and daily HR administration. You will partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and build candidate pipelines across multiple sourcing channels.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and strong relationship building with candidates and teams. The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in HR or related field and at least two years of HR/recruiting

Qualifications

• Two years of HR and/or recruiting experience required.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting and HR administration.
• Manufacturing or technical-industry HR experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general HR practices and employment requirements.
• Proficient with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions, including postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and pre-employment activities.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements and staffing priorities.
• Develop and maintain candidate pipelines through job boards, referrals, schools, and career events.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements and ensure all documents are completed before hire.
• Conduct and coordinate new-hire orientation and onboarding activities.
• Process employee transactions, including hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, and compensation changes.
• Enter and maintain accurate employee information in CSI and HRIS systems.
• Administer attendance and PTO processes, and maintain HR records.
• Respond to routine HR questions and escalate issues to the HR Manager as needed.
• Assist with HR communications, reports, and other HR documentation.
• Participate in career fairs, recruiting events, school partnerships, and community outreach.
