Job summary

Allina Health in Hastings, MN is seeking an Addiction Services Counselor to support assessment, planning, and counseling for patients on a 1.0 FTE, day shift (8:00am-4:30pm). This role emphasizes clinical judgment, care management, and patient advocacy within a collaborative care model.

You will facilitate individual and group sessions, coordinate with community agencies, perform discharge planning, and help families engage in treatment, contributing to recovery and wellness for diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Behavioral Sciences or related field.
• Formal training in family dynamics and treatment issues for families.

Responsibilities

• Patient and Family assessment.
• Facilitates group, individual and family therapy.
• Treatment Planning with referrals and discharge planning.
• Screens for admission to addiction services care options.
• Other duties as assigned.
