As an Addiction Services Counselor at Allina Health, you will utilize critical thinking to provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, and counseling. You will facilitate individual and group sessions, coordinate with community agencies, and advocate for patients, ensuring a centered approach to addiction treatment. Utilizes critical thinking skills in the addiction counseling process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. Provision of patient care is based on care management, quality/resource, stewardship, patient advocacy/customer service and role modeling. Accountable for professional practice of addiction counseling and participation in the interdisciplinary care delivery model.
Pay Range: $29.31 to $40.17 per hour. The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
