Job summary

Allina Health in Minnesota is seeking a part-time Mental Health Practitioner to plan and facilitate therapeutic interventions in day programs. You will work under the supervision of MH professionals and contribute to discharge planning in alignment with CMS and MN regulations.

Role emphasizes collaborating across disciplines, assessing patient needs, and ensuring safety in both group and one-on-one activities within an 8-hour day/evening shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational therapy, therapeutic recreation, music therapy, dance therapy or social/psychological area.
• Meets MH Practitioner Qualifications in accordance with MN § 245I.04, Subd 4

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate therapeutic interventions through structured activities and education.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care services under supervision of MH Professionals and Program Manager/Supervisor.
• Follows practices outlined by CMS, MN DHS Manuals, and MN § 245I for Mental Health Practitioners in adult/day programs.
