Job summary

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is seeking a Counselor to support patients across our network of treatment centers. You will provide individual and group counseling, help clients identify strengths, and guide them toward a drug-free lifestyle within licensed practice.

You will work under supervision with program-team collaboration, maintain records, participate in team meetings, and contribute to program development.

Qualifications

• Must hold one of the listed licenses (LPC, LADAC I/II, LCSW, or LMSW).
• If not licensed, candidates must be enrolled in or pursuing licensure at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling per plans.
• Collect social, educational, economic, and vocational information for assessments.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans within timelines.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Make referrals and follow up through case management.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and share progress.
• Deliver crisis intervention and supportive counseling as needed.
• Coordinate care with community providers and prepare inter-agency reports.
• Support new program implementation as directed by supervisor.
