Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a senior ADAS software engineer to design, develop, and maintain production-grade vehicle software in C++ across multiple ADAS features. You will collaborate with project management, system, validation, and infotainment teams to deliver robust, scalable software for diverse vehicle programs.

The role emphasizes architecture ownership, state-machine development, and integration of active safety, parking, and driver-monitoring capabilities, with cross-functional validation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software-development experience in embedded/automotive/safety-critical systems.
• Strong C/C++ programming and software-architecture skills.
• Experience with Git-based development and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across software, systems, and validation teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production ADAS application-layer software in C++ for the ADAS Integration application.
• Partner with project management, feature owner, system, validation, infotainment and ADAS teams to deliver production-ready ADAS features.
• Analyze and decompose system-level requirements into clear software requirements; own software architecture and implementation tasks.
• Develop robust state-machine logic for active safety, parking, viewing, and driver-monitoring features.
• Develop and maintain communication interfaces using DDS and Ethernet; contribute to build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and release strategies.
