Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks a Senior Feature Owner to lead the development of next‑generation L2++/L3/L4 autonomous driving features within the ADAS/AD team. Focused on highway and urban driving autonomy, including hands‑off driving and DMS integration, this role drives feature definitions, validation, and production launch.

The ideal candidate combines deep automation expertise with a collaborative, fast‑paced mindset to deliver safe, high‑quality customer features across multiple vehicle programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/Automotive/Mechanical/Robotics or related field
• 3–5 years hands‑on ADAS/AD feature development
• Proven track record bringing ADAS/AD features into production
• Strong use case development and ODD definition
• Know-how on SAE J3016 and L2+/L3/L4 architecture
• Experience with supplier interaction and project/release management
• Familiarity with FMVSS, GSR, ECE R79/R157, DCAS-R171; ISO 26262, SOTIF, ASPICE, ISO 34502/34503
• Proficiency with requirements management tools (JAMA, DOORS)
• Proficiency with agile tools (JIRA)
• Excellent communication for complex automation concepts

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, prototype, and launch L2++/L3/L4 driving features
• Own end-to-end feature lifecycle from concept to production launch
• Create and manage feature roadmaps across vehicle programs
• Serve as the voice of the customer in communications
• Develop feature definitions including use cases, ODD, and requirements
• Collaborate with Functional Safety on HARA and SOTIF analysis
• Lead usability studies with UX/UI teams for handoff between automated and manual driving
• Partner with Tier 1 suppliers and internal teams for implementation
• Lead competitive benchmarking and monitor industry trends
• Support V&V strategy including scenario testing and simulation
