Slate is seeking an energetic Sr. ADAS Release Engineer to develop requirements and manage Tier 1 suppliers for Front Camera modules across Slate battery electric vehicles.

You will report to the Manager, Electrical Hardware and Accessories and drive ADAS requirements development for the program. This hands-on role requires leadership of suppliers, release ownership in PLM, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets performance, safety, and cyber-security standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics or Computer Software Engineering or equivalent (ABET-accredited)
• 5 years relevant experience in ADAS/EV environments
• Experience with low/high voltage systems and safety standards

Responsabilidades

• Release control module part numbers in PLM and maintain release levels as design matures
• Review hardware design with cross-functional teams to ensure it meets requirements
• Develop and document test plans for the front camera module
• Lead DFMEA reviews to identify risks and improve controls
• Train technicians on theory of operations and controls logic
• Collaborate with HIL/SIL Validation to develop test plans and iterate on issues
• Implement cyber-security best practices across lifecycle
• Apply LEAN Engineering methodologies throughout the program
