Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Automotive ADAS Technician in San Bernardino, CA. The role focuses on customer interaction, vehicle testing and repair, invoicing, inventory control, and maintaining service vehicles.

Preferred candidates have 4+ years of auto/electronic tech experience, OE scan tool knowledge, and a strong diagnostic ability. This position emphasizes teamwork and adherence to company guidelines with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of OE scan tools and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to learn new tools as needed.
• Proficient with wiring repair procedures and A/C systems.
• Basic computer knowledge including email, spreadsheets and messaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviewing estimates.
• Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis.
• Performs wiring repairs.
• Advises shop of needed repairs.
• Keeps inventory of stock and verifies order receipts.
• Writes, prints and emails service invoices.
• Collects signature or payment for work performed.
• Delivers completed invoices and payments to office.
• Maintains shop equipment and Google Drive up to date.
• Collaborates with teammates to schedule/complete jobs.
• Other duties as assigned.
