Job summary

The Boyd Group in Battle Creek, MI is seeking an Automotive ADAS Technician to perform testing, calibration, and repair work with a strong customer focus. You will handle diagnostics, invoicing, inventory, and coordination with the team to ensure smooth service delivery.

Applicants should have 4+ years of automotive/electronic technician experience, knowledge of OE scan tools, wiring procedures, and A/C service capabilities. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years automotive/electronic technician experience.
• Knowledge of OE scan tools and wiring repair procedures.
• Ability to service A/C systems; diagnostic skills essential.
• Basic computer knowledge including email and spreadsheets.
• Willingness to update knowledge through education and publications.

Responsibilities

• Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repair.
• Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis.
• Performs wiring repairs.
• Advises shop of needed repairs.
• Keeps inventory of stock, communicating with support staff for needed orders and verifying order receipts.
• Writes, prints and emails service invoices.
• Collects signature or payment for work performed.
• Delivers completed invoices and payments to office in orderly manner.
• Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshoots breakdowns; maintains supplies; performs preventative maintenance; advises management of repairs; keeps Google Drive up to date.
• Collaborates with teammates according to PPT guidelines to schedule/complete jobs.
• Other duties, as assigned.
