Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Automotive ADAS Technician in California to diagnose and repair vehicles, calibrate ADAS, and manage invoicing and inventory. You will collaborate with shop staff to schedule and complete jobs, with a focus on delivering quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of automotive/electronic technician experience, strong diagnostic and wiring skills, and proficiency with basic computer tasks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years automotive/electronic technician experience.
• Knowledge of OE scan tools.
• Ability to learn new tools as needed.
• Knowledge of wiring repair procedures.
• Ability to service A/C systems.
• Basic computer skills including email, spreadsheets.
• Must possess high school degree or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repair.
• Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis.
• Performs wiring repairs.
• Advises shop of needed repairs.
• Keeps inventory of stock and verifies order receipts.
• Writes, prints and emails service invoices.
• Delivers completed invoices and payments to office.
• Collaborates with teammates to schedule/complete jobs.
