Job summary

The Boyd Group in Utica, MI is seeking an Automotive ADAS Technician to interact with customers, test and repair vehicles, generate invoices, manage parts inventory, and maintain service vehicles. You will perform ADAS calibrations, wiring repairs, and diagnostics while upholding brand standards.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of automotive/electronic technician experience, knowledge of OE scan tools, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

Must possess high school degree or GED equivalent.
4+ years relevant automotive/electronic technician experience.
Ability to learn new tools as needed.
Knowledge of wiring repair procedures.
Knowledge of OE scan tools.
Ability to service A/C systems.
Basic computer knowledge including email and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repair.
Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis.
Performs wiring repairs.
Advises shop of needed repairs.
Keeps inventory of stock, communicating with support staff for needed orders and verifying order receipts.
Writes, prints and emails service invoices.
Collects signature or payment for work performed.
Delivers completed invoices and payments to office in orderly manner.
Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions and maintaining supplies.
Collaborates with teammates according to PPT guidelines to schedule/complete jobs.
Other duties, as assigned.
