Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Automotive ADAS Technician in Utica, MI to perform testing, calibration, and repair work with a focus on advanced driver-assistance systems. You will interact with customers and team members while managing invoices and parts inventory for efficient service delivery.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years as an automotive/electronic technician, strong diagnostic skills, and experience with ADAS calibration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant automotive/electronic technician experience.
• Knowledge of OE scan tools and wiring procedures.
• Experience with ADAS testing and calibration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repair.
• Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis.
• Performs wiring repairs
• Advises shop of needed repairs
• Keeps inventory of stock, communicating with support staff for needed orders and verifying order receipts
• Writes, prints and emails service invoices
• Collects signature or payment for work performed
• Delivers completed invoices and payments to office in orderly manner
• Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshoots breakdowns; maintains supplies; performs preventative maintenance; advises management of repairs; keeps Google Drive up to date
• Collaborates with teammates according to PPT guidelines to schedule/complete jobs
• Other duties, as assigned
