Ally Financial is seeking an Ad and Content Design Manager to lead a creative team and translate strategy into compelling, on-brand work across channels. You will guide designers and production partners, ensuring cohesive and high-impact outcomes.

The role blends leadership, hands-on design, and team-building, reporting to the Director, Creative and Content, with a focus on craft and execution excellence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant design, motion design and art direction experience.
• High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and execute the overarching creative vision with the Creative Director.
• Develop visual concepts and design directions across channels.
• Provide clear, actionable creative direction to designers, copywriters, and production partners.
• Ensure consistency of look, feel, and tone across outputs.
• Collaborate with copywriters, producers, and marketing to align visuals with goals.
• Oversee timelines, resources, and deliverables with production teams.
• Mentor designers and foster collaboration and growth.
• Review and refine design work before Creative Director review.
