Job summary

Ally Financial is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Graphic Design to translate direction into high-craft design across brand, digital, print, and presentation formats.

You’ll work with the Creative Director and Art Director to maintain visual parity and brand integrity, building assets and design systems while advancing craft across channels. Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience
• A standout portfolio showing range and mastery of fundamentals—typography, layout, color, balance
• Breadth across mediums: brand, digital, print, campaign, presentation design
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and fluency in Figma
• Attention to detail, consistency, and brand integrity; ability to take and give feedback
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Motion and animation fundamentals, or comfort designing for motion (After Effects)
• Experience maintaining brand systems and design systems at scale
• Strong executive/presentation design skills
• Photography or art-direction sensibility informing design eye
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools

Responsibilities

• Translate creative direction and brand vision into high-craft design across formats
• Collaborate with the Art Director to ensure design integrity and consistency
• Execute across brand, digital, print, campaign, and presentation channels
• Build reusable design assets, templates, and systems to move faster while preserving quality
• Stay current on design tools and trends, including AI-assisted design, and evaluate what to adopt
