Job summary
Banner Health in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy-Clinic team. You will support medication preparation, compounding, distribution, and inventory management while assisting pharmacists and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Minimum qualifications include two years of pharmacy technician experience and active licensure/certification; IV training in sterile and hazardous drug compounding is required for Senior Acute status.
Qualifications
- Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active Pharmacy Technician certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of two years pharmacy technician experience.
- Must demonstrate strong customer service, communication, attention to detail and multitasking.
Responsibilities
- Assist in medication preparation, compounding, distribution and inventory management.
- Work with pharmacists and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
- Operate and troubleshoot automated dispensing technology and inventory systems.
- Maintain clean, safe compounding and storage areas and document temperatures and equipment maintenance.
