Banner Health is seeking an Acute Pharmacy Technician to support medication packaging, distribution, non-sterile compounding, and record-keeping under pharmacist supervision. You will assist with IV meds, total parenteral nutrition, and chemotherapeutic agents while ensuring USP compliance and accurate documentation.

Role involves interfacing with patients and staff, training peers, and maintaining inventory and automated dispensing systems in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacy Technician license and certification in Arizona.
AZ Board of Pharmacy wallet card or eligibility to obtain it.
Excellent math, attention to detail, and accuracy in record-keeping.

Responsibilities

Identify medications and items for reorder to maintain inventory.
Restock medications and verify quantities against invoices.
Operate automated dispensing technology and restock as needed.
Prepare non-sterile compounds and document procedures.
Maintain a clean, compliant work environment and quality controls.
Handle narcotics per federal and state regulations.
