Job summary

Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Senior Acute Pharmacy Technician to join the inpatient team. Requires 2 years of pharmacy experience and IV training for sterile and hazardous drug compounding; shift 1:30 PM – 10 PM with training weeks.

Qualifications

• Requires two years of pharmacy technician experience.
• IV training for sterile and hazardous drug compounding.
• Proficiency with pharmacy computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Identifies medications for reorder and maintains inventory.
• Manages automated dispensing technology and troubleshoots issues.
• Compounds intravenous medications and hazardous drugs per USP guidelines.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and documents temperatures and equipment maintenance.
