Job summary

Responsibilities include preparing medications, maintaining inventory, ensuring USP/cGMP compliance, and training staff. The role requires licensure, certification, and 1–2 years of experience; shift is day, four 10-hour sessions, with every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active Pharmacy Technician certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.
• One to two years of relative experience.
• Must possess good organizational, problem solving and computer skills.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Selects and prepares medications under direct supervision and batches for pharmacist review.
• Maintains inventory, restocks medications, and analyzes reorder needs.
• Performs non-sterile compounding following USP/cGMP guidelines.
• Prepares and labels intravenous medications including TPN with sterile technique.
• Supervises/ trains junior staff and ensures adherence to quality processes.
