Qualifications

• 2-4 years of actuator system modeling experience.
• Experience creating performance requirements for actuator systems.
• Experience with electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic actuators.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Proficiency in Matlab, C++, Simulink, and Python.
• Modeling both linear and nonlinear actuations in Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Modeling and simulation of actuation systems for launch and related programs.
• Collaborate with Cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
• Design and analyze PID control systems for electromechanical and electro-hydraulic actuators.
• Create and maintain linear and nonlinear models in MATLAB and C++.
• Evaluate model outputs vs. test data and update models accordingly.
• Plan actuator systems engineering work and develop performance requirements.
• Review test data and implement corrections as needed.
• Produce documentation summarizing work performed.
• Conduct kinematic analysis of 3-bar and 4-bar systems.
