Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III with a strong actuation background to develop and analyze hydraulic and mechanical components used in aircraft brake control systems. The role centers on ownership of hydro-mechanical product design, verification, and supplier collaboration.

You will lead new product design projects, perform reliability analyses, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Formación

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7+ years in aerospace or related hydraulics development.
• Experience designing aircraft actuation components (hydraulic valves, actuators).
• Strong knowledge of ANSI Y14.5, tolerance analysis, and 3D CAD.
• Ability to manage suppliers and lead projects.

Responsabilidades

• Create new products and modify existing actuation components to meet requirements.
• Perform stress and fatigue analysis on hydraulic and mechanical parts.
• Lead design projects from requirements through concept, detailed design and production.
• Manage suppliers to meet specifications, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare design documentation and support design reviews with customers and internal teams.
• Analyze test data to verify performance against specifications and conduct failure analyses.
