Job summary

SCOR in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Associate Actuary to transform actuarial reporting analytics across US Life bases including US Statutory, US GAAP, IFRS, Solvency II, and internal economic value metrics. You will build, enhance, and maintain reporting tools, data pipelines, and analytical frameworks to support cross-functional business insights.

You will collaborate with business teams, support IFRS17 and Solvency II metrics, and assist senior management with scenario analyses.

Qualifications

• Associateship of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation (or equivalent).
• 3+ years actuarial experience in insurance or reinsurance, involving valuation/reserving/economic value analysis.
• Understanding of valuation concepts, cash flow modeling, and assumptions.
• Experience with IFRS, Solvency II, LDTI, PBR, or other economic value frameworks.
• Ability to explain model results and movements to non-actuarial stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, actuarial systems, and BI tools.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reporting tools, data pipelines, and analytics for US Life reporting.
• Enhance analytics across US Statutory, US GAAP, IFRS, Solvency II, and economic value metrics.
• Support IFRS17, Own fund walk, Solvency II metrics in reports.
• Collaborate with business teams to deliver client analytics identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Assist senior SCOR US Life management with scenario analyses of financials.
• Promote learning and innovation, improving tools, processes, and metrics.
• Serve as Financial Development Partner on model and process improvements for actuarial reporting.
• Coordinate with Group reporting topics and provide surge support for capital model runs.
• Support company-wide strategic initiatives and special assignments as required.
