Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6–7 actuarial exams and 4+ years of experience.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Proficiency in SQL, VBA, R, Python, SAS or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support updates to Spectrum and E&S loss development factors, trend selections, and pricing assumptions.
• Roll out Spectrum class plan to states and update pricing factor analyses.
• Prepare slides for leadership on new business results and profitability.
• Collaborate with underwriting and product teams on the latest class plan.
• Leverage SQL, R, Python to enhance analytics.
• Lead and mentor junior team members.
