Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group is seeking an experienced actuary in Radnor, PA to lead pricing for Executive Benefits contracts, including COLI/BOLI and PPLI products. You will model assumptions, develop pricing strategies, and collaborate with product and distribution teams to meet profitability and sales goals.

The role requires 6+ years in actuarial positions, a preferred FSA, MG-ALFA experience, and strong technical and cross-team communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in actuarial positions.
• Preferred to have FSA credential.
• MG-ALFA modeling experience preferred; experience with product illustration software (e.g., Andesa) a plus.
• Strong technical skills.
• Comfort working with and communicating across various teams and levels of seniority.
• Capability to be productive in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform pricing analysis for new/redesigned Executive Benefits contracts and rider benefits, including COLI/BOLI and PPLI products.
• Determine appropriate assumptions and how to model new product features.
• Develop pricing strategies and provide consultation/clarification on actuarial models and risk issues.
• Collaborate with the product development and distribution teams on product design to meet or exceed profitability and sales objectives.
• Direct, develop, and/or run complex pricing models and analysis using MG-ALFA and product illustration software (Andesa) for EB contracts and rider benefits.
• Present results of analysis to team members, key business partners, and management.
• Analyze risk management strategies, and various reserve and capital requirements.
• Evaluate the impact of potential product design changes on the reserve and/or capital requirement, profitability, and tail risks.
• Maintain existing actuarial pricing models and tools, and proactively identify and implement improvements.
• Provide actuarial support for state filing, tax qualification, and regulatory compliance for EB products.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing pricing analysis and results, including crediting rates, and documentation of assumptions and methodology.
• Participate in ad hoc projects related to product development, implementation, inforce management, and corporate risk management initiatives.
